In 2020 a single Bible verse made me look at my wardrobe differently. What started as a curiosity about why fabric composition would matter enough to be mentioned in scripture turned into five years of research, multiple pregnancies, countless mistakes, and a complete rebuilding of the way I think about clothing. I studied fashion merchandising in college. I had spent years in retail environments. I understood textiles from a technical standpoint. Yet, I had never once stopped to ask how the fibers we wear every day actually effects the bodies wearing them.Once I started asking those questions I could not stop. And once I saw the answers I could not unsee them.
Fibers With Fashion exists because that research deserved a home, and because my journey from awareness to an actual functional, stylish, intentional wardrobe was far harder than it needed to be.
I made every mistake in the book. I purged my entire closet with no strategy. I spent years dressing in a way that met my fiber standards but didn’t reflect “me.” I lost my personal style in the process of trying to protect my health, but eventually I found my way back to both. The system I built out of that experience is the roadmap I wish had existed when I started, and I truly believe it has everything one needs to create a closet that is harmonious with their fiber and fashion goals which is why I’ve dubbed it, “The Official Blueprint For Building a Balanced Wardrobe.”
This platform is for the person who is just beginning to question what is hanging in their closet and does not know where to start. It is for the person who has already gone down the research rabbit hole and feels overwhelmed by everything they have found. And it is for the person who has been at this for a while but wants a real strategy; one that balances fiber integrity with personal style, budget reality, and actual life!
You do not have to choose between a healthy wardrobe and a beautiful one.
Over here, we balance Fibers With Fashion.
